"Sour Cherry" by The Kills

This song is the first on my playlist titled “Wanderlust”

  • California - Metro Station
  • Animal - Neon Trees
  • Shut up and let me go - The Ting Tings
  • New Soul - Yael Naim
  • Everybody - Ingrid Michaelson
  • Seventeen Forever - Metro Station
  • Think you want it - Colette
  • Be OK - Ingrid Michaelson
  • Still Young - Neon Trees
  • Shake it - Metro Station

Just when I thought of this music I first heard when I enter UP Diliman, the moment of College Welcoming Assembly came into my mind. A year ago, I thought academic year 2012-2013 would be awesome. My thoughts didn’t went wrong.
My first year in UP Diliman turned out to be pretty good. New friends, joining the first organization I affiliated  - UP KMS, and especially, finding what I really want to do with my life. I’m happy for knowing what track I’m following through. Because before, I don’t have any plans at all.
However, I just thought “random dancing” in this song would be a great deal to start a new academic year this season. It’s already raining!
P.S. I was never a freshman at UPD. I just transferred there (from UPLB). :)

Final grades for second semester 2012-2013

I’m just so happy I passed all my subjects for the past sem. I never expected it to be high as much as this. I would never done the best without Him by my side. All through out, I thank him for guiding me with His grace. He never left me during my sleepless-nights-drinking-coffee sessions.
His love is so amazing! I can’t believe I have maintained the only “title” I may have been proud of - being a College Scholar. Praise to the Highest Almighty! :)

"I remember the night, and almost the very spot on the hill-top, where my soul opened out, as it were, into the Infinite, and there was a rushing together of the two worlds, the inner and the outer. I could not have doubted that He was there. My highest faith in God and truest idea of him were then born in me. I have stood upon the Mount of Vision since, and felt the Eternal round about me. But never since has there come quite the same stirring of the heart. "

Christianity: “I can live after death”

There is something in our being that resists the idea that “I” must some day cease to be. And indeed, to give up forever this wonderful world of sunshine and flowers, the wind in my face, the sound of the water, the company of my loved ones - to enter an endless realm of nothingness - is hard to take or even to comprehend. Thus, early on, humans have sought an imaginary communion with a non-material spirit world where - it is believed - a part of me will live on.

Jeanelia Anne turns 18!

Dec. 8, 2012 | The Grand Terrace

It was my first time attending for some formal debut, and I’m glad I did come even though Jinel invited me the day before her “post-birthday” (her real birthday was on the 13th of December)

I’m happy realizing JP, Pam && I don’t looked really haggard here, even though we had the immersion for the elderly in the same exact date. Awesome!

With the gorgeous ladies Jel, Anama, Pam && Gavi

Am I the only one who doesn’t have the similar pose for both pictures? HAHA!

The boys look oh-so good here. Jp the playboy, Kirby the swabe && kuya Bounce the terrified. LMAO!

We had a lot pf pictures but hey, where’s the debutante?

TADAM! Here she is… Jinel in her fantabulous white gown, surrounded by the future lawyers. Hopefully!

Photos courtesy of Jinel && Gavi. Thanks guys! :*

UP KMS goes to Kanlungan ni Maria

Antipolo, Rizal | Dec. 8, 2012

It’s not just the experience that we cherished, it’s the life-changing moment stuck on the consciousness of being an elderly - all the things they share with us, and the time we have spend seeing their smiles.

It was also my grandmother’s death anniversary. Fallen by the pieces of how “TANDERS” used to take their day-by-day challenges and boredom. From that time, they thought me how to be strong… to enjoy life as it may seem more challenging enough just like a big yellow bus trying to hit you like a madman.

This is Lola Bing. She’s very friendly and all. She doesn’t look too old for her age, though!

Nanay Vangie used to be Tweetie De Leon’s nanny for years. She also traveled to different places around the globe. Taray ni Lola! :)

Happiness!

Nanay Lina here is the joker of the family. She used to make “banats” for all of us. One time she asked me “Chicken ka ba?” And I said “Bakit po?” Then she answered me “Gravy kasi pagmamahal ko sa’yo eh!”, and we all laughed hard.

We also played Binggo. Nanay Bing and I never win, even once. Huhu!

Renz looked very happy here. Namumuro na kasi!

Here is UP KMS souvenir for that day’s event. Courtesy of the SecPub Committee! Yey.

Congratulations to the Vice-president for External Affairs, which also happens to be the head of the said event Paolo Soto. All of this won’t happen without you… but of course, the whole org itself. Teehee!

KUNIKO meets KIERKEGAARD!

Mixing two different race is like combining same particles, they never attached to one another. But seeing these two pigs of mine makes a difference. Apparently, I named the pink one Kuniko, which is a Japanese name meaning child from the country. She has been with me for a year now. The blue one’s name is Kierkegaard, the philosopher. He was my sister’s advance gift for Christmas.
